Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible servers on PostgreSQL 11, 12, 13 (paid extended support since September 1, 2026) or 14 (paid extended support from February 1, 2027)

What LeftSize checks

Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server versions 11, 12 and 13 left Azure standard support on July 31, 2026. Servers were automatically enrolled in Extended Support on August 1, 2026 and Extended Support billing started September 1, 2026. PostgreSQL 14 follows: standard support ends January 31, 2027, Extended Support (billed) starts February 1, 2027.

Why it matters

Missed retirement and end-of-support dates turn into forced upgrades, outages or extended support charges at a moment you did not choose.
