Azure Cache for Redis instances — migrate to Azure Managed Redis before Sep 30, 2028
azure.redisAzure Cache for Redis Basic, Standard and Premium instances must be migrated to Azure Managed Redis before September 30, 2028
What LeftSize checks
All Azure Cache for Redis Basic, Standard and Premium instances retire on September 30, 2028. Remaining instances are disabled starting October 1, 2028. Existing reservations are supported until September 30, 2028. Migrate to Azure Managed Redis (self-service migration recommended; migration tooling in preview).
Why it matters
Missed retirement and end-of-support dates turn into forced upgrades, outages or extended support charges at a moment you did not choose.
